Game- Battlestar Galactica

Cylons Beware! The Colonial Viper game is complete. Based on the original series this is worth the 10 minutes it take to beat. See if you can beat my high score of 17200 with 5 lives left.

CHEAT HINT: The best way to get a high score is to use the weapon power up. The trick is getting it, as it is invisible and can be destroyed with your lasers. Here's how to get it:
--You will see an asteroid float by about 1/2 of the way through the first level. after that asteroid will come 2 cylon raiders side by side (the ones that don't shoot back). After they fly by or you shoot them down, there will be a second asteroid.
--When the second asteroid appears, hold your fire, and move your ship just to the right of it. The power up is invisible so don't shoot. Wait until the third asteroid appears. Then it's safe to fire. When you do, your guns should have two extra split-diagonal beams which will come in handy for defeating the next massive group of cylons and asteroids. If you missed the power up, don't worry about it. However, if you want to beat my high score, you'll need to hold on to that powerup as long as you can. Lose a life and you lose the powerup.


This Battlestar Galactica flash game is my final interactive project for Computer Animation class.

All the graphics and animations were done by me in flash and photoshop. I inserted the music and graphics into the game engine that I got at swfspot.com

I didn't have time to put in sound effects as the project is due.
